Antique Door Hardware Set Eastlake Knobs Lock Plates Brass Vintage 1800's
For your consideration is a beautifully aged antique hardware set salvaged from a New England Estate. The only maker's mark on it is on the lock, featuring a shamrock "Y&T" or Yale and Towne circa the late 1800's. The knobs appear to be more modern, 1920's-1940's era but they go wonderfully. The brass plates are fantastically ornate, classic, and likely date to around the late 1800's like the lock.
No original skeleton key unfortunately but those are fairly simple to replace. The handle mechanism in the lock moves nicely. The base metal is unclear, as one of the handles appears to have a more greyish tone. It may buff out, or it may be a base metal showing through.
But these have wonderful patina and character regardless. This item is in the category "Antiques\Architectural & Garden\Hardware\Door Knobs & Handles". The seller is "selma_junkoff" and is located in this country: US.
