Antique Fine Quality Mahjong Mah Jongg Set Beautiful Tree & Flower Basket Tiles

Wonderful, fine quality antique bovine bone & bamboo mahjong set. Complete set of 148 tiles 144 for play and four spare blanks. All tiles in lovely antique condition and measure 31mm x 22mm x 13. Mm, lovely generous bone tops make up more than 50% of the tile.

Wonderfully carved and coloured flower tiles, one run beautifully carved with trees of China, (weeping willow, maple, birch and pine), the other run carved with pretty two part flower baskets. Set housed in a wooden carry case, the exterior wood stain has faded to an attractive warm honey colour lovely little carved sparrow to the central cartouche of the sliding door, 4 little felt pads atached to the underside of the case to protect your table! C ase measures 24cms x 16cms x 16.5cms. Set complete with a large quantity of fine quality bone scoring sticks, four bone dice in their little cricket box and a tong box with wind discs.
