Antique Mahjong Mah Jongg Set Lovely Thick Bone Tiles Flower & Season Tiles

Lovely antique bovine bone and bamboo mahjong set housed in its original wooden carry case. Complete set of 148 tiles 144 for play and four spare blanks.

Tiles in lovely antique condition and measure 31mm x 22mm x 12.5mm, lovely generous bone tops which make up more than 50% of the tile. Nicely carved and coloured flower tiles decorated with auspicious Chinese plants and flowers.

One bams decorated with swooping cranes all tiles have a lovely sheen to their bone tops. Set complete with a large quantity of bone scoring sticks, four bone dice in their little cricket box and a tong box with wind discs.

Case in very good antique condition a couple of the brass mounts have little losses and a couple are a little raised. Case measures 24.5cms x 17cms x 17cms. A fine quality antique set.
