Antique Mortise Lock, Knobs, Plates, by Corbin Ceylon c1895 #2

Antique lock set that includes 2 brass door knobs Knobs 2 1/4 diameter dome style, 2 backPlates brass 1 mortise lock faceplate Ceylon design brass with skeleton key. All parts are Corbin "Ceylon". This door set was made by P. The design was named "Ceylon", and features a multitude of geometrics and flowers on the doorknobs, doorplates, and lock faceplate. The mortise lock (which can be easily reversed) works well.

Normal wear to the knobs and lock faceplate the doorplates in general good conditions. Antique "Ceylon" Doorplates measure 1 1/2" wide and 5 1/2" tall. Mortise lock faceplate is 7/8" by 5 1/4"; depth of box is 3 1/4" and height is 3 3/4". They have 2 1/2 setback to center of doorknob shaft and keyhole. Doorknobs are 2 1/4 diameter dome style We include the doorknob rod and rod screws.
