Antique Victorian Ornate Mechanical Doorbell & Fancy Turn Twist Set c1885. This lovely antique mechanical doorbell set dates to the late 19th century. The bell cover is cast brass and the base is cast iron; both are highly ornamented. The handsome twist is cast bronze with a very dark patina and a Victorian floral pattern. The doorbell, which produces a higher-pitched repeating ring, is in excellent working and aesthetic condition.

Ready to be installed on your door, it's a very charming set. Antique Bell base measures 4 diameter. Twist base is 1 1/2" by 3 1/4".

Rod extends through your door 2 5/8" (so will fit a door up to 2 1/2"). Having proven that they will last through the years, their value and collectability will continue to increase.
