Antique Vintage Old Brass Arts Crafts Interior Door Lockset Knob Plate Lock Set

Antique Brass Door Set w/Knobs, Plates, Lock, & Key. The set comes without keys, but we could make some! See description below for more info. Antique, interior door lockset made by Sargent & Co. Of New Haven, CT during the first half of the previous century.

The set consists of 2 brass knobs, 2 stamped brass escutcheons, 1 steel mortise lock with brass faceplate, 1 brass strike plate, and 1 steel spindle with 2 setscrews, and 12 installation screws to fasten the parts to the door. The set was salvaged from an old home in Western PA. This is one of the rare sets that we salvage in such great condition, it doesn't even require cleaning! A ll parts are in excellent condition with only tiny nicks and light scratches that you would expect to find on old, used hardware.

There are no breaks, cracks, chips or gouges. The lock was opened, inspected, and we sprayed a machine lubricant on and around all parts to facilitate their movement.
