Nice Antique Victorian Decorative Eastlake Door Mortise Lock Set Corbin Ceylon

For your consideration is an incredible. Antique aesthetic Eastlake style door lock set with bronze knobs & roses manufactured by P. Corbin in New Britain Conn. This is part of the Ceylon design collection as shown in the 1905 Corbin hardware trade catalog.

The strike, bolt and face plate are made of brass. The lock body are cast iron. The knobs & plates are bronze. The mortise lock is in very good functional condition - It has been refurbished - disassembled - all part cleaned and properly reassembled. The lock is reversible - it will work with a right hand or left hand swing door.

Dimensions are as follows: Face plate: 5-1/4 x 7/8", Distance between the face and center-of-hub (set back): 2-3/8". Distance between center-of-hub and center-of-key post: 2-3/16.
