Vintage: Extremely well made and clearly maker marked SARGENT on the lock box, comes with a genuine vintage Sargent brass cylinder lock and one key. Hard to find and in excellent fully restored condition and this is a COMPLETE SET in this regard. It includes two brass knobs for the door. It includes a new brass Security Guard cylinder lock and one two keys.

It includes the interior back plate with a thumb turn knob that throws the deadbolt from the inside of the door! It includes the split-swivel shaft for the turn knobs. It includes the large brass backplaste for the exterior of the door knob.

Awesome, if your home had this lock on the front door around 1925, it was a very, very fine home and in a very find neighborhood! The mortise lock push buttons work perfectly. Model # 6745 is in the casting inside the lock, this is Sargent lock number.

Heavy brass face plate measures 7 1/2" by 1 1/8" wide. Box is 3 3/4" deep from the back of the front plate and it is 5 5/8" top to bottom. SCREWS: Screws are on 6 3/4 centers. Step back from the front of the front plate to the center of the cylinder lock is 2 1/2. The drop from the center of the lock cylinder cavity to the center of the knob post hole is 3. A 3/16 square cam is located under the cylinder to accommodate throwing the deadbolt from the inside of the door, thumb turn handle is affixed to the interior backplate. KNOB POST or KNOB SHAFT. This lock utilizes a half shaft for the knob on the inside of the door, knob post hole is 3/8 on both sides. It is with the lock. The lock is designed to accommodate turn knobs on both sides of the door. Very clean inside and out, extremely well made, no rust, functions very well, with key! This is everything you need (save for a few screws) to completely transform your front door! Corbin was right: Great houses do deserve great hardware!
