Vintage 1940's coral red rayon crepe 2-pc nightgown and robe set with big shoulders, puff sleeves, neck tie, brass studs, zip front, tie sash. Pink nightgown has tie back, scalloped hem, may not be original to this set. Nightgown, lying flat, measures about 17" at chest armpit to armpit, 15" at waist, 20" at hips, 53" long from shoulder. Robe, lying flat, measures about 19" at chest armpit to armpit, 13" at waist, 19" at hips, 55" long from shoulder. Nightgown shoulders have been torn and sewn and generally tortured (see photo).

Entire length of the right side of the zipper is completely missing. Otherwise robe looks great with light wear.
