NORWALK # 2410 ENTRY MORTISE LOCK FULL SET w/CYLINDER, KEY, KNOBS, PLATES (13173). Of Norwalk, CT, mortise is #2410. It is in wonderful condition and works perfectly. It comes with an original Norwalk cylinder lock and one original key. Heavy brass faceplate with body of the lock clearly maker marked NORWALK one of America's many high quality manufacturers of builder's hardware during the late 1800's and the early part of the 20th Century.

FACEPLATE: Brass faceplate measures 7" long, 1 1/8" wide, 1/8 thick. BOX: Box is 3 3/4" deep from the back of the front plate and it is 5" top to bottom. Screws are on 6 1/4 centers. BACKSET: Backset (the distance from the front edge of the faceplate to the center of the knob post hole) is 2 3/4. DROP: The drop (the distance from the center of the lock cylinder hole down to the center of the knob post hole) is 3 1/4.

KNOB POST/SHAFT: The lock is made for a split pivot post and has a 3/8 opening on both sides. The shaft is included with the set. THUMB TURN KNOB: The lock set comes with a thumb turn knob that fits into the cam for a thumb latch that throws the deadbolt from inside the door. BRASS DOOR KNOB SET: Comes with two matching brass knobs, 2 1/4 diameter on each.

ENTRY BACKPLATE: Set comes with the original 10 1/4" x 3" brass backplate. INTERIOR BACKPLATE: The brass interior backplate is included, measures 7 1/2" long and 2 1/2" wide. The lock comes with a vintage Norwalk brass cylinder and one original Norwalk key. STRIKEPLATE: Large brass strike plate as pictured is included in the set.
